Travel Log....

I went to Nepal for 3 days doing recruitment. Here I don't want to talk about recruitment process besides come, do interview, evaluate, accept, collect biodata bla bla haha...

All I want is to write on my travel log to Nepal. This was my 3rd time travel here.

So here it is.....

1st day

Time kinda back to the future. I've been here in 2006 & 2007. The surrounding change a lot but most of them remains the same.

The road still berdebu, honking all over the place, still no traffic light (traffic men yes!), full of Bajaj & hero honda, maruti suzuki but now kia n hyundai i10 & i20 are poking into the road. Saw kancil, kelisa, wira, naza bistari. Yamaha kinda slow here (still thinking of yamaha eh hehe).

Still remember this place. Full of memories. Wish I could turn back the clock. The casino (Tara Casino) still there (play few roulettes at nite hehe). Money @ chips gone down the drain haha ( I am not god of gambler). The shows are good ;) hehe. Full of bollywood wannabe....

On the 1st day was preety much nothing to do. More of sleeping at hotel (tired of using Nepal Airlines. What a smell inside). At nite invited to dinner by agent as wanna me get to know with local agents and met with people from Y&L Metal Components Sdn Bhd and Elektrisola who also came for interview (they going back on that night).

2nd day

After the interview process, agent prepared for me and his 2 staffs a half day trip to Pokhara. I heard this place is nice for scenery viewing but have no idea of the agenda.

Now waiting to board local flight (Yeti Airlines) to Pokhara. Fokker with 2 propeller engines (terasa naik private jet haha on Jetstream 41). The plane has 2 rows of seats and flight attendance gave us drinks and sweets. It's 25 mins flight and x sempat to tido haha..

Reached Pokhara and the adventure begins.....

1st pit stop is Devi's Fall. It is a miracle how water can design the earth.

2nd place is Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave Entrance Gate. It is the other way to see the bottom of the Devi's Fall. As usual there is a place where Buddhists do their praying inside the cave.

3rd visit is Bindabarsini Hindu Temple (Lady God Temple). X sah kalau x visit temple. Penduduk Nepal memang beragama buddha. Atas bukit. Lenguh kaki panjat.

4th stop is at Gurkha Museum. Memang super la mereka. Their soldiers dah establish since 18th century. Merata dunia dia org dah pegi and berbagai jenis perang. Memang patut royalty around the world guna khidmat mereka. They are very loyal to their master and famous for khukuri. Kat dalam kalu nak snap photo kena bayar la plak. Yea lah museum pun establish by org perseorangan. Amik gambar kat luar je lah.

5th stop is just beside Gurkha museum called Seti River Gorge. The water is like air barli due to snow melting from everest mixing with minerals and very cold thou time tu kat Pokhara about 32C. Katanya, the water is good if you want to cure ur pimple blackheads etc...

Our 6th stop a.k.a lunch time is at Fish Tail Lodge. This place for me is very natural n peaceful place. Is good for relaxation and meditation and include hotels too. Many distinguished persons, vips, royalties stay there. Rates jgn tanya la. Every hotels in Nepal using USD. Sanggup bule la dok yg exclusive nye tempat around USD100 - USD150 per nite. Even to reach there must across the lake haha.

That's my last pit stop b4 we fly back to Kathmandu. Of course Pokhara is better than Kathmandu. Lagi bersih and tenang. Sebelum balik biasalah minum n shopping sikit2. beli key chains kat kekawan...

 

And not to forget our tourist guide for that day is Amit.

The very enjoyable short trip to Pokhara. Visit few places. Knows the area. Penat but gembira. Bought some keychains to friends and colleagues. Tu je yg mampu but oklah atleast from my heart. Hope can distributes to all persons that close to me.

Otw back to Hyatt, i saw peace rally. Katanya utk meminta gomen Nepal increase level of education. Tah lah. Kesian tgk bebudak beratur.....

Also bought present to my wife n myself for mother's and father's day. Mmg murah. USD45 each, yang mana saya tgk kat airport KLIA price RM280 rasanya.....

3rd day
Lepaking at hotel. Can't go anywhere. Rally at town. Hope tonight still I can board the plane. Last time stranded due to unstable political issues.

I think if political correct, the nepalese would much prosper as money keeps pooring in from people working abroad. But still, it change drastically from the time I was here. Probably now the ruler no longer control by the royals follow the bloodbath few years back.

Have no idea what to do today. Agent try to go to office to complete few things. As for me lepaking + watching tv la kot. Internet connections is astromical expensive. Wifi hotspot is everywhere but non of them foc like mesia. Even mamak give free wifi. Tp, boring nye pasal bayar gak la (Nepalese Rupee 1335.92 incl tax 23% about RM60 per day). Dpt la browse fb, twitter, goggle. Dptla ilang boring hehe

I got sms regarding east coast meets for MSL FA final. Klate lost to ganu 2-1 during extra. Me lost the betting but kudos to TRW player. They fought hard. Still have next year and still have opportunity to champs the MSL and yes, ganu again as contender. This year is for klate n ganu. Congrats also to ganu but red warriors is in my heart.

Last nite in kathmandu. Boarding on flight RA415 (seat no 6B). Dunno when gonna be here again. Well if not bcoz of taking nepalese, I'll not be here. Thks to agent haha or potential workers
